Prejudice and Dr. Rice

When I was young, I remember hearing jokes about blacks (I'm white). I remember that the N-word was not uncommon. However, the trend has been in favor of racial equality. It's been years since I've heard a joke about blacks (except from black comedians) - until recently.

Dr. Condoleeza Rice has worked very hard in her life. She has great character and high ethical standards. She has been selected for a difficult and important position and I think she's the right person for the job at this time. The president couldn't have chosen a better person right now, in my opinion, to be the Secretary of State.

Yet she is maligned by the liberal media and afforded worse press than Osama bin Laden. Liberals are prejudiced against her ideology. If she were liberal, they would tout her as a great black woman. However, instead of adressing ideology, they make fun of her race. For example, there are political cartoons that attempt to degrade her based on her heritage. Liberals like to play the political "race card" since they are percieved as the party of racial equality. However, their behavior toward Dr. Rice demonstrates their true nature. While conservative president George Bush appoints the best person to a high office regardless of race, liberals tell black jokes.

Dr. King is rolling in his grave.

Truth, Justice and the American Way

Yay! Scott Peterson got convicted!

Well..."yay," that is, if he was really guilty. From the second and third-hand information I get, he probably did it. But I don't really know. I trust that that the jury was thorough and analyzed the evidence accurately. Is it possible that they got it all wrong? Possible, but not likely.

What I think is alarming is that people stand outside the courtroom and cheer. We talk about justice as though we are innocent. It's a grim proceeding that has been undertaken in the courtroom. On the one hand, we don't want to let a vicious murderer go free. On the other hand, we don't want to send an innocent man to his death.

But the notion of justice is often applied with a double-standard. Many who cheer outside the courtroom have climbed into their vehicles this afternoon and intentionally drove recklessly home. Intentionally? They intentionally broke the laws that are supposed to keep us safe on the road. They might as well run through a crowded mall with a loaded weapon that has a round in the chamber, the hammer cocked and their finger on the trigger. Sure they may never have wrecked before, but they cry out for justice when the other idiot who wrecked and killed everyone in his car is holding up traffic.

Justice? One man gets convicted while the rest of us play with each other's lives. It doesn't matter that the law distinguishes between intent and negligence. People die. What about the people getting killed in Faluja? It's nothing compared to the people who were murdered in New York this past year. And that figure is nothing compared to the people who were killed in automobile accidents.

Smoking! Obesity! Where's the justice!?! But we won't say anything about our own bad habit of talking on a cell phone going 80MPH in a 65MPH zone.

Speaking of obesity: I heard a lady criticizing missionaries who took food to people in other countries who were starving instead of feeding the starving people right here in Statesville, NC. There's a problem with the logic. Here, people aren't DYING of starvation like they are in other countries. Also, we DO have a local ministry to feed people who don't have food. If anyone is starving to death, it's not for lack of food. Incidentally, she was just as overweight as most of the rest of us.

My whole point is, our concept of justice is a bit lop-sided. The outcry needs to be tempered with an understanding of our own culpability. Others of us haven't committed murder, but we have contributed to a society that too often looks the other way. And a society that excuses some and convicts others breeds those who think that murder might be okay as long as they don't get caught.

Alfred Kinsey, Satan and Western Culture

This article was too good to pass up. It's also too long to reproduce here effectively.

In summary:
  • Kinsey's science is junk.
  • Kinsey intentionally caused the sexual abuse of hundreds if not thousands of children.
  • Kinsey's explicit purpose for his junk science was to overturn Judeo-Christian morality.
  • "Scientists" today have based their careers on Kinsey's fake results and are thus inclined to heartilly defend him rather than bring his depraved errors to light.
  • Western culture has been successful because of Judeo-Christian morality.
  • Today's popular attitude toward sexual morality - directly attributable to Kinsey's junk - is explicitly identical to core Satanic teaching.

That's an exceptionally brief summary. The article is worth the time to read it.

Hollywood is reprehensible for their latest offering vilifying Kinsey. Those who would produce such to encourage the increasing sexual slavery and the abuse of our children are not to be trusted.

And any who lay a hand on MY children will die.

Can the Democrats Go to the Right?

Ok. On political matters, I try not to repeat stuff others are saying (The Fahrenheit 911 summation of lies was an exception). That's why you won't read me typing on every big story of the day. The libs are asking why the Democrats lost. Rush Limbaugh argues that the right question is, "Why did the Republican's win?" Some of the liberal commentators bemoan a perception that the Democrats have to go right to win. My question is, "Can they?"

The short answer is, "No." In order to go right you have to know where "right" is. The problem with the vast majority of liberals is they don't understand conservatism. They've caricatured it so much that they no longer know what it really is. Caricatures are not real life, folks.

Liberals think conservatives are mean even as Whoopie is grabbing herself and making lude references about the President. Liberals think conservatives are bigots when Bush has the most colorblind cabinet (and one of the most astute cabinets) ever. Liberals think that conservatives are a bunch of money mongers when Bush and Cheney divested themselves of their stock to run for president and the Kerry's continue to flout wealth among the worlds wealthiest. (It doesn't help that they kept their Heinz holdings.) The list could go on...

All said, liberals lost because they don't understand how sensible conservatism really is - when all those fly-over people they think are so stupid do.

Where is Arafat's Money?

Arafat is all but dead. He's on life support and not conscious despite what his propagandists claim. They're keeping him alive because he has a few billion in a Swiss bank account and no one else knows how to get to it. His wife wants it. The PLO wants it. The US gave it to him ostensibly to use for the Palestinians (read: it used to belong to the US taxpayers). Apparently he though he couldn't die so he never prepared for such a contingency. Now who will get the money?

I guess the Swiss will...
